Shipping policy
DELIVERY & ACCESS INFORMATION
1. Standard Delivery is 3 - 5 working days. Next Day Delivery is available if you place your order before 10am. All delivery costs are confirmed at the checkout once you enter your full delivery address.Â
2. For updates on your delivery, you will be sent tracking information by email.
3. Delivery of your Good(s) will be in a bulk bag on a pallet via a third-party delivery company using a pallet network. The delivery will be via a manually operated pallet truck to move the pallet of bulk bag(s) to the kerbside or onto a level, solid surface such as a tarmac drive. Please note we are sorry but we unable to deliver on to a gravel or grass surface or a steep driveway. The delivery vehicle will be an 18 ton curtain sided wagon which has approximate dimensions of 3m wide, 10m long and 4.5m tall. The pallet your bulk bag will be delivered on is non-returnable.Â
4. Delivery of our heavy products does not come without challenges but we have over 30 years experience in the landscaping industry and we have chosen to work with the best delivery partners for our customers. The majority of our deliveries are made via the pallet network as explained in point 3 above. The pallet delivery vehicles have curtain / soft sides so no vegetation / trees / hedges etc can brush up against the curtain sides and so the driver can refuse to attempt delivery to us if he feels this could be an issue and there is insufficient room to carry out the delivery. We don't want to scare you by mentioning refusal to deliver but we need you to consider the delivery limitations before you place your order to avoid any disappointment. If you are unsure about your delivery address being suitable please just get in contact with us first before you place your order and we will be able to check if delivery can be carried out before you place your order.Â
5. It is preferable if you are home when the delivery is made to avoid any delivery issues (such as parked cars in the way, weight limits on bridges etc). We have found the majority of delivery issues can be resolved with a quick phone call to avoid a re-delivery charge if delivery is not able to be made.Â
6. We can also deliver in bulk loose loads over 10 ton or more. Delivery will be by either a 6 or 8 wheeled tipper wagon (up to 20 tons) or by an articulated wagon (up to 30 tons). Please contact us if you would like a price for a loose tipped delivery of any of our products and we will provide you with a bespoke quote,Â
7. We can deliver to all of the mainland UK via the pallet network. If we are unable to deliver to your postcode that will be confirmed to you at checkout.Â
8. If you place an order and we are unable to deliver to you you will be liable for a re-delivery charge of £60.
9. If you have any delivery queries before you place an order or if you have tight or restricted access, please just give us a call on 01782 528557 or send images of the proposed delivery location to sales@topsoilandmore.co.uk and we can confirm whether or not we will be able to deliver to you before you place your order.Â
10. By completing your order you are agreeing to our terms of service (see separate).Â
11. Delivery prices are per pallet and per bulk bag and the delivery cost will be calculated at the checkout once you have entered your full delivery address.
12. Standard Delivery is free to some parts of the UK and, when chargeable, Standard Delivery starts from just £4.99 and will be automatically calculated and confirmed to you are checkout before you place your order.Â
